Fair Tomorrow Foundation

About us

About the foundation

Why Fair Tomorrow exists

The FAIR TOMORROW Foundation grew out of a passion for building a sustainable and fair future for local communities and businesses across Poland. We combine an innovative approach with a deep commitment to social and economic development, while caring for the environment.

Poland has undergone an enormous transformation in recent years, and it shows in many places. Even so, large cities and smaller towns still develop at different speeds. As a result, some areas have markedly different access to education, innovation and opportunities to grow.

Our goal is to close those gaps and to make sure that every community, whatever its size or location, has a chance at sustainable development.

We take a holistic approach to social and economic problems. We believe that through education, innovation and working together we can build a better world for this generation and the ones after it. Sustainable development is not only a destination but a journey we take alongside our partners, our beneficiaries and local communities. Together we can do more — for people, for the economy, for the planet.

We focus on local development with a view to growing internationally. Sustainable development starts at home, but its ripples reach the whole world — and globally we can all support one another and open up new perspectives.

Who is behind it

The foundation is run by two people who brought business experience together with social work.

Natalia Balicka

Founder and President

From an early age she wanted to see the world, which led her to study in England. There she gained valuable experience, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and the chance to travel.

An education in international business management and languages, combined with a broad professional background — interpreting, human resources, marketing and work at global localisation companies — opened up many possibilities, which after ten years she brought back to Poland.

On her return she was struck by how dynamically Poland had developed over the previous decade, especially in the larger cities. She also saw areas where further improvement was possible, so that Poland could become one of the leading countries in all-round development.

Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.

Hanna Juszczak

Founder and Vice-President

Social initiatives and working for others have always been close to her. For many years she mentored children and young people, helping them build confidence and discover their potential.

Her working life is in event organisation and project management, combining creativity with the ability to plan and deliver ambitious undertakings. She moves easily between business and social work, believing the two worlds can complement and inspire one another.

The Fair Tomorrow Foundation is a natural continuation of that passion — a place where commitment, empathy and real influence on one's surroundings become concrete. Her work is guided by the values of sustainable development, making sure initiatives have a lasting positive effect on both people and the environment. She believes social and environmental responsibility go together and form the foundation of deliberate action.

Who we help

Who we work for

The five groups our programmes are built around.

  • Local communities

People living in small towns and villages who want better access to education, innovation and social and economic development. Local leaders and activists who want to act for their own community.

  • Micro, small and medium enterprises

Companies in smaller towns interested in adopting sustainable, innovative and socially responsible practices.

  • Young people and working-age adults

People looking for knowledge and tools for personal and professional growth who do not live in a major urban centre. People who want to act locally but think globally.

  • People interested in self-development and work–life balance

People of all ages who care about living deliberately, keeping work and life in balance, and acting in line with their values. Employees, freelancers and leaders looking for space to reflect, take inspiration and exchange experience.

  • Partners

Local authorities, educational institutions and other foundations that share our vision of sustainable development.

Support

Why support us

Every złoty and every hour of volunteering goes where the difference is most visible — to smaller towns, where access to education, innovation and capital is still narrower than in the big centres.

We work holistically: rather than running one-off campaigns, we combine education, business support and environmental care into work that stays in the community after a project ends.

We are a small organisation, so decisions are made quickly and the results are visible directly — in the specific people, companies and communities we work with.
